Press release: Aray YOBA Poem Video is now available.
A New word and pronoun suffix for the English language seeks to reduce conflict.
Dateline: August 2022
For immediate release.
Inspired by an article in Psychology Today about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, YOBA (Your Behaviour or Attitude) is a proposed new word for the English language. The BA construct can be used as a pronoun suffix. Use the pronoun (e.g. her) when complimenting and add the BA suffix (e.g. herBA) when Criticising. The BA suffix ” is used to imply positivity, poking fun, lightening the mood, broadening perspectives and seeking to avoid conflict”. “Such a concept is required because in the modern world people are sensitive to criticism, negativity or reputational damage perceived as directed at them.
“The video includes the YOBA poem set to music and images of some of the Jamaican author’s (Aray) art collection. The Overall messages of video were summarised by cards from Aray’s daughter:
“Do more of what makes you happy”
“You have to believe in yourself. That’s the secret”.
The Aray YOBA Poem video is released by Aray2 Limited. It is available for download from Amazon, Apple and other chargeable sites. The latest version of the evolving YOBA poem, details of available formats and video trailer are available at www.aray2.co.uk.
