Loquet

Coming soon a New Outdoor game called Loquet. A combination of Croquet and Ludo.

In the meantime here is a version of Croquet you should enjoy.

Example Lollipop Croquet Course V1

On a hot sunny day and go to the park (or in your back garden), have a picnic and play Lollipop Croquet. The course layout consists of hoops placed in a circle around a center pole or stake. The single start and winning stake is outside the circle, thus the hoops of the course are in the shape of a lollipop. Starting anywhere behind the Starting stake, on their turn, players must stroke their ball through the hoops towards the center stake, in a defined order. After going through each hoop they must hit the center stake before going through the next hoop (in a clockwise direction) towards the center. Whenever a player’s ball hits the center stake or goes through appropriate hoop (in the correct order) they get an extra stroke.

This gives us plenty of opportunities to meet, hit and Roquet each other, because after going through each hoop, towards the center, one has to hit the center stake. Roquet here means when a player’s ball hits another opponent’s ball, the player has the option to pick up their ball and place their ball touching the opponent’s ball. Stand on their ball and hit it so their opponents’ ball goes flying. (If they don’t hit their foot instead of the ball). The player then has another stroke.

To make it a close game we have the 2 Turns rule, whereby a player gets 2 Turns if they are two hoops behind the leader at the start of their turn. This is in addition to the extra stroke they get during their turn after hitting their ball and it goes through the next hoop in the defined course route sequence or hit the center stake.

Don’t forget the picnic of wine, beer, grapes, fruit, sandwiches, snacks, juices, chocolates, water and other delicious foods and drinks you like. Even if you don’t win the game one and all will enjoy the picnic in the sunshine.
